Dr. Jonathan Blando

Dr. Jonathan Blando was born and raised in New Hartford. After graduating from New Hartford with honors, he attended the State University of New York at Oswego where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Wellness Management and Health Promotion in just 3 years. Dr. Blando moved back to the area with his high school sweetheart, now his wife, where he then traveled back and forth to Seneca Falls where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College. He now spends his spare time with his growing family, woodworking and building things with his hands.
Dr. Blando stresses the crucial nature of properly functioning musculoskeletal, immune, and nervous systems to achieve optimal patient health. He enthusiastically emphasizes patient education and ultimately giving his patients the knowledge, confidence, and tools necessary to take an active role in their recovery to optimum health and future injury prevention.
Dr. Blando’s integrated approach to treatment includes the co-management of patients’ new and existing conditions with other healthcare professionals—including medical doctors, physical therapists, massage therapists, and naturopathic doctors. Personally connecting with the patient, as a whole person and catering treatment to suit each individual patient are principal aspects of Dr. Blando’s vision for peak patient health.
Dr. Blando is a certified provider of Rock Tape, which is a kinesio tape technique. He has experience treating athletes of all levels at various sport events, such as the Boilermaker and CrossFit competitions. Dr. Blando treats patients from newborns to geriatrics, including pregnant women, professional and amateur athletes, and even a country music superstar.
